QB Sweep Comparison
Просмотров 4,7 тыс.9 лет назад
This is a comparison between the same QB sweep play ran by OSU against MSU in the 2013 B1G Championship (which was stuffed on 4th down), and again in the 2014 game. Same play, different results... so what's different besides the TE getting his block? There are a couple subtle adjustments if you look closely, including an adjustment that helps the TE make his block easier, which also makes this ...

Where was Bosa?
And OSU did it with their 3rd string QB.
Terrible editing. Unwatchable.
a speed in space team will *never* win a national championship, mark my words. It's a gimmick.
Oregon of this era was very flashy and they hit you fast and often. But if you had the people to rotate in and out on D, and you just played your game you’d wear them down eventually. They couldn’t hang against a team that maintained discipline.
10 years later: Ohio State’s biggest rival beats Oregon’s biggest rival for the national championship
Favorite play was the Joey Bosa tackle on Mariotta's shoulder into the turf in the 4th quarter.
I wish god would stop giving me his strongest battles.
What a special team
How many quarts do we need?
I feel if Oregon had converted the 3rd down on there 2nd or 3rd drive, this game could have gone differently. Missed Carrington so bad in this one
You could also say the same about OSUs 4 T/Os. They may have put up 60 if not for that.
@@fredericklockard3854 true, that would have changed the game. All I was saying was the momentum early could have been different which could have affected the game in the long haul. But your point is also valid.
@@OnlyNikeFans you’re correct. You never know which way a game is gonna swing based on momentum.
what a stupid design
Oregon played like Oregon , and its clear that they aren't championship caliber 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂hilarious absolutely hilarious BOW DOWN TO WASHINGTON HUSKIES 😂
I mean Washington had the same thing happen to them against Michigan
I think I was at this game. So many people left early lmao
13:33 one of the greatest catches ive seen by a wr to stay in bounds
this is old news ,the buckeyes have a huge problem ,the great urban meyer handed ryan day a championship team and ryan day single handedly destroyed this team ,that cotton bowl was disgusting ,i am glad ryan day career is coming to a end at ohio state
I've never seen so many lucky gifts given to a team that ends up still losing. Oregon was gift wrapped several short fields on turnovers and still lost. Go Bucks
I don’t like OSU… but I like Alabama even less!! Great game!!
26:13 The Moment I knew we were gonna win it all that year!
As a life-long Buckeye fan who painstakingly trudged through the Cooper years...I'd say this team was the best ever. Better than the 2002 team even. They proved so many people wrong it was just silly. Alabama fans were SICK after they lost to this team. Oregon fans were STUNNED when they lost to this team. This 2023 Buckeye team is a mere shadow of the 2014 team, but God Damnit, we NEED TO BEAT THAT CHEATING TEAM UP NORTH!!!!
Oregon had no answers on defense for the Ohio State offense. Silly turnovers made this game closer than it ever should have been in reality.
This game was more competitive than I recalled.
zeke should have gotten the hiesman
NOT AN ALABAMA FAN AT ALL, BUT HOW WAS 7:20 NOT A SAFETY?
In the Ohio media, it was reported in commentary after this win that the Ohio State defense had figured out Oregon and Mariota's tempo after that first touchdown. It was like, "yeah, they just burned us for an TD on the opening series, but we got 'em now" I don't know if that is true, but what I do know is that OSU's offensive line completely dominated Oregon's defensive front.
I’ll never forget this. It was my senior year of high school and the city of Columbus went crazy after the buckeyes won. I used to train at OSU for Track and the it was complete pandemonium I think this championship had more of an impact on the State of Ohio than when the Cavs won their title.
I should do laundry. That spencer block...
So many turnovers the Ducks couldn’t do anything with. They had opportunity for sure
And with those turnovers, you’d think the game would’ve been the exact opposite
@@matthewspallina226, they made the score 21-20 off of those turnovers
@@tre_4 no I meant you’d think that Oregon would’ve blown out Ohio State if they scored TDs instead of FGs
toyota uses metric, why are you listing standard?
Beautiful Game! 💯
11:16 could’ve so easily been a pick 6 and this game would’ve went a lot differently. Crazy moment
Too many missed opportunities from Alabama and Kiffin not running Henry as much as he should have cost Alabama the win
Something no one can say but us being the first playoff champions Go bucks
I was there.....chills!!!!!
This is the last game ohio state would play on CBS, until the 2023 season
The Buckeyes beat Alabama, and then they were still getting 6 points against Oregon. Easiest bet I have made in my life.
Super interesante 😊 thank you
Did you hear him DOT THE EYE ON THIS CHAMPIONSHIP WIN, SCORED TWICE AS MANY POINTS AS THOSE ROOOOOOKIES 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂@😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢@😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂WAY TO BE OHIO
Bob Newhart did a hell of a job as the referee that night
Listening to Blackledge sucking on Alabama's ball sack still pisses me off to this day.
Alabama still feeling it 9 yrs later
I still know the Ducks lost because they didn't wear a the all green and yellow highlight jerseys
The special teams coverage in this game other than one play was immaculate. Some amazing punts and it seemed like almost every kickoff return someone from the kickoff team would just come flying in as soon as the returner came out. Evan Spencer was probably the X factor in this one tbh. Obviously the throw which is probably the best throw I’ve seen from a non QB in football history, but the block on the Zeke run taking out two guys was just nasty work. Also the catch on the onside kick is probably one of the best examples of ball skills; great timing and those hands are strong asl being able to haul that in. I’m a Buckeye fan so I may be biased, but this is definitely a top 3 college football playoff game.
Great video. Tip to others. I used an injection tool to simply push the fluid into the fill hole (basically a large syringe with a 3' hose on the end.
CJ stroud needs to watch how these qb's play
Looks like he’s figured it out in NFL.
OSU handing the ball over 3x's and still won by 3 td's plus. The Natl champ was played a week earlier and OSU turned it over multiple times in that game and still crushed Bama.
Miss this
Will this work on 4x4 modles
I'm just saying the truth so you know what's coming
Should I tell you the name of the police man .I can do that
A pussy way of old man football
